Mark Greco is a designer, illustrator, printmaker and all ’round wildlife enthusiast.
His project, ‘A Natural History’ is a series of limited edition silk screen and giclée prints that are influenced by his passionate interest in science and nature. By combining digital image making with traditional printmaking techniques he uses colour, pattern and symbolism to create bold pieces that reflect some of the character, habits and stories behind the subjects he depicts.
In addition to his personal work Mark undertakes commissions working with a variety of clients which has included the BBC, the UK Crafts Council and Bloomsbury Academic.
Recent projects include COAST which was commissioned by Cubic for their Magpie brand and a range for the Wildlife Trusts.
Mark is also a regular collaborator to the magazine Viva Lewes.
